Cairns Derby Dolls - Cairns' newest flat track roller derby league. Competitive, fun and family orientated.
CDD is a non for profit league that was founded by Random Freak and Dirty Birdy who wanted to go back to the ground roots of Roller Derby. They wanted a league that would push and challenge their skills, be about family and to support the community that supports them.
CDD has some clear goals in place and they are:
* To become a strong competitive league
* To promote team work within a supportive envionment
* Promote healthy living and to achieve a high level of fitness with all members
* To spead the word of Roller Derby being a sport as well as a lifestyle
CDD's offical colours are Orange and Royal Blue.
CDD skate at the Cairns Recreation Centre aka "The Dollhouse" which is located at, 44 Behan Street in Manunda.
Training:
Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm
Thursdays 6pm - 8pm
Cost is $9.00 per training session, Skate and pad hire $5.00
Bring your own helmet and mouth guard
Interested people are welcome to come and say hi and introduce theirselves and register their interest in participating in a fresh meat intake.
